When Life Pushes You Out of Place

I. God Uses Pressure to Advance His Mission

  • Persecution following Stephen leads to scattering, not collapse

  • Disruption is often deployment, not abandonment

  • Comfort can become containment

  • God sends His people toward influence, not safety

Learning Steps

  • Identify areas of disruption in your life

  • Ask, "Where has God placed me?" instead of "How do I get back?"

  • View resistance as assignment rather than failure

V. Gospel Maturity Produces Measurable Generosity

  • Prophecy of famine leads to intentional response

  • Everyone gives according to ability

  • Generosity flows from belonging, not obligation

  • Giving precedes need reaching them personally

  • Gospel belief expresses itself through sacrifice

Learning Steps

  • The hand of the Lord rests on obedient people

Final Diagnostic Questions
