When Trying Harder Doesn’t Work
What does it actually mean to be “dead to the law”? In Romans 7:1-6, Paul uses the powerful picture of marriage and death to reveal what happened to us through our union with Christ. The law did not die, we did. And death changed everything.
In this study, we explore how the cross ended our former relationship to the law, how resurrection joined us to Christ, and why Christian obedience is no longer about struggling to satisfy the letter, but bearing fruit through the life of the Spirit.
