Adam, Christ, and the Triumph of Grace

Romans 5:12-21 tells the story of humanity through two men: Adam and Jesus Christ. Through Adam came sin, condemnation, and death. Through Christ comes grace, righteousness, justification, and eternal life. In this study, we’ll unpack what it means to be “in Adam” versus “in Christ,” why death has reigned over humanity, and how Jesus accomplished far more than simply repairing what Adam broke. Where sin increased, grace abounded all the more. Sin may have entered the world through one man, but through another Man, grace has taken the throne.
